Lately, since having children I haven’t the room/time to dedicate to creative pursuits. But I have been able to embrace art in painting. I studied watercolor for a bit, before finding real joy in gouache and painting faces.

I’m still studying, sometimes I seek to copy the traits of a person, sometimes not, but I enjoy the way the medium lets me pick it up and come back to it if I need to stop and attend to something with the kids.
